Shift the Paradigm of Women and Anti-Aging
Women Aging Young welcomes you. This is a brand new blog that will shift the paradigm of the concept of “anti aging”. Please fill out the Women Over 50 Survey to help me connect with your needs.
This past September I celebrated my 66th birthday. Maybe it was an awareness that I was not immortal and that at the most, I had another 20 really great years ahead of me. I’ve been telling myself for years that I wanted to “make a difference”. Well, I will and Women Aging Young is the vehicle.
That birthday heralded a desire in me to reach out and connect with other women who would like to age with pride and joy rather than shame and sadness. Together we can and will make a positive and exciting difference in the lives of women who are also aging. Sound good?
I invite you to join the “tribe”. Please opt-in and stay abreast (pun intended) as we gather together and shift the thinking to women aging with pride, grace and energy.
From “anti-aging” to aging with pride. Please fill out the survey. Women Over 50 Survey

Thanks for thinking of me Gail. This does sound good. Hugs to you. Maya
Gail—your site is really very fine! I think you have turned a commitment and respect you have for yourself into a way of reaching out to potentially millions of us women who are bombarded with how to look longer, feel younger, fool everyone! We truly have become a “youth worshiping” society. Earlier this year I was asked to write my bio for our school website–so parents could get to know a little about me as a new staff member. My principle removed my short reference to my age, my 6 children and my 7 grandchildren because “parents might not feel comfortable if they knew how old you are.”
I applaud you, Gail! And I’m so glad you were able to get in touch with me! Love, T.
T: Wow – There it is, so blatantly negative about women and aging! Being older, with years of wisdom and life experiences, is exactly what our children need. Someone to teach them the ways of life – who knows that better than one who has and is growing older with pride. Thanks for your response to the site and our mission and for joining the tribe.
